GlobalResolve was established at ASU in 2006 as a social entrepreneurship program designed to enhance the educational experience for interested and qualified ASU students by involving them in semester-long projects that directly improve the lives of underprivileged people, and/or those in under-developed nations throughout the world. Gel Fuel Production in Domeabra
Global Resolve is currently undertaking an innovative project to produce and market gel ethanol fuel in the village of Domeabra and the surrounding area of Kumasi, Ghana. Learn More.
Water system in Fawomanye
The village of Fawomanye, Ghana, has no clean water supply, but instead uses a polluted drainage pond for cooking, drinking and washing. GlobalResolve is working on a permanent solution water purifier for the village that creates distilled water from any source using very little energy in a patented process developed by Prof. Jim Beckman in chemical engineering at ASU. Make a difference in the world this summer
Join us for a trip to Ghana, West Africa in late May and early June and earn six credits of social entrepreneurship. We will visit several villages and other points of interest including a game preserve to understand needs and resources of communities in order to help design solutions and help create sustainable economic development in those communities.
